The U.S. Embassy in Zimbabwe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Worker (Truck Driver) to join the team in the General Services Office in Harare, Zimbabwe.

- Salary: USD $18,133 per year
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating U.S. Government-owned or leased trucks, large cargo vehicles, or other vehicles.
They will also be responsible for safe handling, transporting, and storage of both expendable and non-expendable items.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two (2) years of professional truck or heavy vehicle driving experience
- One (1) year of experience in manual labor or warehouse work
- Completion of primary education
- A valid, current license for heavy vehicles driver’s license Class 2
- Good working knowledge of warehouse operations, procedures, and maintenance of equipment
- Good working knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations, and travel routes and areas
- Ability to physically perform loading and unloading, handle heavy objects, and lift a maximum of 51 lbs. (23kg)
- Ability to use warehouse tools and safely operate equipment such as forklifts, hand trolleys, electronic lifters, etc.
Language Requirements:
- English: Limited knowledge (Reading/Writing/Speaking required)
- Shona/Ndebele: Good working knowledge (Reading/Writing/Speaking required)
