Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Marketing Consultant will play a pivotal role in developing, executing, and managing marketing strategies to promote the bank’s products and services. The goal is to enhance brand visibility, drive customer acquisition, and increase retention.

This position requires collaboration with various departments to ensure marketing efforts align with business objectives while analyzing market trends and customer behavior to implement effective campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns across various channels.
  • Create integrated marketing plans to enhance awareness, drive customer acquisition, and foster retention.
  • Work closely with product and sales teams to align initiatives with overall business goals.

2. Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to uncover customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to craft marketing strategies and improve customer targeting.
  • Analyze marketing performance and generate reports to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

3. Content Creation and Campaign Management:

  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials such as advertisements, brochures, and digital content.
  • Ensure all content adheres to the bank’s branding guidelines.
  • Manage and execute digital marketing campaigns including email marketing, social media, and web presence.

4. Customer Engagement and Relationship Building:

  • Develop initiatives to enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and advocacy.
  • Organize events, promotions, and sponsorships to create meaningful customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with customer needs.

5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with internal teams including sales, product development, and customer service to support marketing initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors involved in marketing campaigns.

6. Brand Management:

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all channels.
  • Monitor brand reputation and strive to build a positive perception in the market.

7. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:

  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with applicable regulations and the bank’s internal policies.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and legal requirements related to marketing in the financial services sector.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in marketing, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.

Skills:

  • Solid knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Proficient in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, email marketing software).
  • Strong analytical skills for measuring and optimizing marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret market trends and customer behavior to make informed decisions.
  • Creativity: Skill in developing innovative marketing ideas and campaigns.
