Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 A Level passes or equivalent.

Role Overview:
As a Telesales Advisor, you will be responsible for contacting both existing customers and new prospects to sell Old Mutual’s products and services over the phone. Your primary role is to build strong customer relationships by prioritizing their wants and needs.

You will engage with prospects who have shown interest through advertising or direct marketing campaigns and utilize provided databases. As the first point of contact, you will be a Brand Ambassador, making lasting first impressions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality sales service that generates business from both new and existing sources, contributing to company profitability and growth.
  • Manage both incoming and outgoing sales calls according to predetermined schedules, campaigns, and targets.
  • Educate customers about product offerings, pricing, terms, and conditions through telephonic communication.

  • Provide accurate and prompt quotations to customers.
  • Maintain an agreed lead-to-sale ratio, manage all allocated leads, and meet set sales targets and objectives.
  • Identify the financial needs of clients and maintain a high Quality Assurance average on phone calls.
  • Accurately capture customer data and finalize calls when possible, ensuring timely forwarding of policy documents to customers.

  • Maintain professionalism in all customer interactions, adhering to business culture, product standards, and quality expectations.
  • Time manage effectively to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and industry offerings, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of products and services.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in financial services, back-office operations, marketing, contact center, or sales environment. Experience in sales or customer service is advantageous.

  • Adherence to customer information confidentiality.
  • Agility in learning new products and embracing technological changes.
  • Knowledgeable about the financial industry.
