Job Description
Premiercredit Zimbabwe is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Reconciliation Officer to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reconciliations across transactions, accounts, and statements.
This role involves identifying discrepancies, maintaining precise records, and supporting the finance team’s reporting efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of financial transactions, accounts, and statements.
- Identify and address discrepancies, anomalies, and irregularities in financial records.
- Maintain accurate records of reconciliations, adjustments, and corrections.
- Assist the finance team in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in reconciliation, accounting, or finance.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
