The New Ambassador Hotel is seeking suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the position of Barman. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can thrive in a busy environment and provide exceptional customer service.
Reporting to: Food & Beverage Supervisor
Location: New Ambassador Hotel
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare for and efficiently manage busy shifts
- Deliver excellent customer service to all patrons
- Manage inventory and bar stocks effectively
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks
- Handle cash transactions and process payments
- Reconcile bills accurately
- Adhere to health and safety standards in the bar area
Job Specifications:
- Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with service standards in the hospitality industry
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Strong sensitivity to customer needs
- High levels of personal presentation and professionalism
- Unquestionable integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
