About the Job:

Mukuru is seeking a passionate Client Liaison Officer to serve as a brand ambassador in our banking hall. The ideal candidate will engage directly with customers, ensuring efficient onboarding and exceptional service while accurately capturing customer details.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Interaction:
    • Welcome customers and assist in completing forms.
    • Provide detailed information on Mukuru services and money transfers.
    • Help customers with queries regarding mobile transfers and account issues.
  2. Documentation and Onboarding:
    • Capture customer details using the Mukuru app.
    • Take photographs for identification purposes and ensure documentation is compliant with regulations.
    • Facilitate the sign-up process for new customers.
  3. Maintaining Standards:
    • Keep the banking hall presentable and organized.
    • Ensure all necessary documents are available and up to date.
    • Manage customer queues effectively.
  4. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Adhere to Consumer Protection Act, FICA regulations, and other applicable laws.
    • Conduct thorough checks on customer documentation.
  5. Brand Representation:
    • Uphold Mukuru’s professional standards and customer service principles.
    • Act as a point of contact for resolving customer complaints and issues.
  6. Continuous Improvement:
    • Attend training sessions for new products and services.
    • Monitor personal performance against targets.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a forex environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Ndebele (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Knowledge:
    • Foreign exchange and related regulations.
    • Mukuru products and services.
    • Money laundering and Reserve Bank regulations.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Innovative problem-solving abilities.
