Job Title: Compliance Monitoring & Evaluation Interns (B1) – 6 Positions

The Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Compliance Monitoring & Evaluation Interns (B1).
ZimParks is offering six internship positions based across various regions including the Central Region, Northwest Matabeleland Region, Eastern Highlands Region, Matopo Region, and Sebungwe Region. The incumbents will report directly to the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and strengthening of monitoring, inspection, and evaluation procedures.
- Support monitoring of all project activities, expenditures, and progress toward achieving project outputs.
- Aid in evaluating overall progress towards achievement of results.
- Draft monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual progress reports on all project activities for the Manager.
- Participate in planning workshops and assist the Manager in preparing relevant reports.
- Coordinate across the available components of the Authority to ensure effective implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation.
- Prepare additional relevant reports as required.
- Organize and conduct training on Monitoring and Evaluation.
- Prepare reports on findings and lessons learned from project innovations; maintain the monitoring and evaluation database.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required:
- A relevant degree in Monitoring and Evaluation or a related field.
- A Monitoring and Evaluation qualification is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and familiar with statistical software such as SPSS and Stata.
