Job Vacancy: Debtors Accountant

Position Overview:
UNITI REFINERIES LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Debtors Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the timely and effective collection of debts and payments, ensuring the financial health of our organization.
Candidate Specification:
- A degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are a must.
- Proficiency with ERP systems is a distinct advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a proven track record of achievements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the collection of all debts and payments efficiently and effectively.
- Post and allocate daily receipts in the accounting system accurately.
- Maintain and ensure that debtors’ accounts are always up to date.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and send out customer statements in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all credit customers through regular visits and phone communications.
