The SADC Parliamentary Forum (SADC-PF) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Project Manager to lead our SRHR, HIV & AIDS Governance Project (2023-2026), funded by the Swedish Embassy.

This is a critical role aimed at advancing the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) agenda across SADC member parliaments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement results-based management policies related to M&E and risk management.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to Beneficiary Member Parliaments in designing and executing monitoring frameworks.
  • Deliver training sessions for parliamentary staff on M&E methodologies and tools.
  • Coordinate data collection efforts from regional and national levels, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with SRHR objectives.
  • Analyze data and prepare comprehensive annual narrative reports, summarizing findings and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Foster close collaboration with SRHR Researchers, committee secretaries, and other stakeholders to create a results-driven culture.
  • Monitor project progress against defined key performance indicators and ensure adherence to donor reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Social Sciences, Public Health, International Development, or related fields; a postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in SRHR projects.
  • Proficient in data analysis, report writing, and use of M&E software/tools.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including parliamentarians.
  • Knowledge of the international SRHR landscape and familiarity with grant management is desirable.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French or Portuguese is an advantage.
