Baker’s Inn, a leading manufacturer in the food industry known for our commitment to quality and innovation, is inviting applications for the position of Millwright within the Northern Region facility in Harare.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will take full charge of the following responsibilities:
- Ensure all manufacturing equipment operates efficiently, safely, and effectively.
- Test, calibrate, install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and monitoring devices.
- Perform general maintenance on machinery and related plant systems.
- Ensure that the plant and machinery consistently comply with NSSA safety regulations.
- Understand, interpret, and implement quality standards for machinery.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and ensure timely repairs.
Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- National Certificate in Millwright Work.
- Millwright Class 1 Journeyman Card.
- A minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in the food or bakery industry (Experience with bread slicing machines is an added advantage).
- Computer literacy.
- Membership in a professional body is considered an added advantage.
- A clean Class 4 Driver’s license is also an advantage.
