Qualifications and Experience:
To be eligible for the position of Mini-Marts Cashier, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of five (5) ‘O’ Level subjects, which must include English Language and Mathematics or Accounts.
- Basic knowledge of using a computer.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good time management and customer satisfaction orientation.
- A Till Operating Certificate is an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Successful applicants will be required to:
- Operate the point of sale in Bindura University Mini-Marts.
- Process over-the-counter transactions.
- Collect payments from customers.
- Maintain a daily cash register.
- Produce a daily sales report.
- Ensure the safekeeping of cash resources.
- Conduct daily banking of cash.
- Assist the supervisor in processing orders.
Additional Information:
