Job Summary
We are seeking two Monitoring and Evaluation Assistants to enhance the effectiveness of our consultancy services in mental health. The ideal candidates should have a strong passion for monitoring and evaluation and a keen interest in research methods related to mental health.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of Evaluation Plans: Assist in formulating and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans and frameworks for various programs.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Support the collection, management, and analysis of data related to program outcomes, outputs, and overall impact.
- Research Support: Conduct literature reviews and research studies to guide program development and assessment.
- Database Management: Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets for effective tracking of program data.
- Reporting and Presentations: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings from monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Best Practices Documentation: Identify, document, and share best practices and lessons learned from program implementation.
- Technical Assistance: Provide support and technical guidance to program staff regarding monitoring and evaluation practices.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in public health, epidemiology, statistics, social sciences, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in monitoring and evaluation, research, or a similar area.
- Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in team settings.
