About Us

World Mental Resilience Programs (WMRP) is a registered and licensed mental health consultancy dedicated to enhancing the sustainable availability, accessibility, and affordability of mental health interventions.

Our aim is to ensure inclusivity and that no one is left behind. We provide evidence-based mental health solutions through research, policy-making, programs, and strategies tailored to various societal contexts. As of September 2023, we lead the provision of Psychological Interventions in Zimbabwe, in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Child Care and the World Health Organization (WHO).

At WMRP, we specialize in designing and implementing a variety of mental health programs, including crisis intervention, community education, and resilience-building initiatives. Our multi-disciplinary team consists of licensed health professionals and development practitioners committed to mental health advocacy and support.

Job Summary

We are looking for two talented Monitoring and Evaluation Officers to design, implement, and manage our monitoring and evaluation systems for mental health programs.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in monitoring and evaluation, relevant research methods, and data analysis, particularly within mental health or NGO contexts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Framework Development: Create and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks, plans, and tools to assess program progress and outcomes.
  • Research Conducting: Design and execute research studies, surveys, and assessments to evaluate program effectiveness and impact.
  • Data Management: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources, including program reports, surveys, and administrative data.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to stakeholders, including management and external partners.
  • Capacity Building: Provide technical assistance and training to program staff on monitoring and evaluation best practices and tools.
  • Collaborative Improvement: Work closely with program staff to identify areas for improvement and devise appropriate solutions.
  • Alignment Assurance: Ensure that all monitoring and evaluation activities align with the organization’s goals and standards.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in public health, epidemiology, statistics, monitoring and evaluation, social sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in monitoring and evaluation, research, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Principles: Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation principles, methods, and tools.
  • Data Analysis Competence: Experience with data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, or R).
  • Skill Set: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
